Flexi job tailored to you
A flexi job is an interesting supplement to your main job or pension. Since 1 July 2026, a flexi job is possible in almost all sectors; whether it is possible for a given position depends on the rules of the sector. But when are you actually eligible? Check if you fall into one of these groups.
You worked at least 4/5 in the third quarter before the start and want to earn extra. You pay no tax on your flexi wage up to 18,440 euros (income year 2026).
If you are retired, the 4/5 condition does not apply. If you have not yet reached the legal retirement age or 45 career years, since 2026 you may earn a maximum of 8,121 euros per year with a flexi job. Contact the Federal Pension Service beforehand.
A student without 4/5 employment does not meet the condition for a flexi job.
