Yes. Events is one of the sectors where flexi-jobs are allowed. You meet the standard conditions (work at least 4/5 for another employer, or be retired) and your flexi pay is paid net according to the sectoral pay scale.

The minimum rules of the sector apply to your flexi pay, and on top of that hourly wage you receive 7.67% flexi-holiday pay. You pay no social security contributions on your flexi pay and, up to 18,440 euros (income year 2026), no tax either. Anything you earn above that is taxed. This ceiling does not apply to retirees, but a pensioner who has not yet reached the legal retirement age and has fewer than 45 career years may earn a maximum of 8,121 euros per year from a flexi-job since 2026. Shifts can be long and irregular, so do not count on a fixed weekly rhythm. All details are on our page about flexi-job pay.
