Yes. Care support is one of the sectors where flexi-jobs are allowed. You meet the usual conditions (work at least 4/5 for another employer, or be retired) and your flexi pay is paid net according to the sectoral pay scale.

The busiest times: school holidays and summer months, when permanent staff take leave. Exactly then shifts are most numerous and pay most easily above the minimum.

Your flexi pay follows the sectoral pay scale for the role, and that amount is net for you: no taxes or social contributions, up to the annual ceiling of €18,440 (2026 amount; retirees have no ceiling).
